demonstration of support for planned parenthood

dave and i joined other members of feminist club in a demonstration of support for planned parenthood this morning, in response to the rather aggressive anti-abortion protesters that show up regularly at the future (we hope) planned parenthood site in north portland. we had a good turnout, and the two sides remained civil throughout. well, except for the guy yelling at us the whole time, calling us "nazis," "witches," and other lovely, off-topic names. the police were patrolling and politely kept us in compliance with the rules. we received lots and lots of positive responses to our presence, including honking and thumbs ups.
