zürich day 2

this morning, we had a hearty breakfast at our guesthouse before taking off to the countryside where christian grew up for some biking and twike-riding. our route started in marthalen, then through daschen to near schaffhausen, where we stopped to look at the rhine falls. we then toured on bike routes through the villages of oerlingen, ossingen, trüllikon, dätwil, andelfingen, alten and back to marthalen. there were multiple fountains in each village, and one even had a cold tap of honor-system beer! we stopped for a light lunch + beer there and later for some ice cream and a walk around marthalen. we came back to zürich for a yummy dinner at grüntal, a nighttime walk along the river, and a nightcap at a bar surrounding a swimming area of one of the rivers.
