washington county fair fun

what a night! motocross jumping, demolition derby, people watching and judas priest cover band. oh, and a beautiful sunset to boot! some of us were a little stressed out by the motocross stunts, but cotton candy, root beer floats and elephant ears apparently heal most (if not all) wounds.

july in seattle with start/play... i mean... play/start!

i drove half the band to seattle and went to their awesome show at the wild rose on saturday, where they were unknowingly incognito.

play/start, goodbye and hello

play/start played at mississippi pizza last night with emily herring. it was a great show - and an emotional one. it was bryn's last show as play/start's bassist (she's moving to san fran to be with her lady). candise, the band's new bassist, came up to play the last song, and the torch was officially passed.

we're gonna miss you, bryn!

a pinker shade of gay

tonight we went to "a pinker shade of gay," a benefit organized by play/start for SMYRC (the sexual minorities youth resource center - a super organization) at backspace. there were great bands, good friend times, and a photobooth - who could ask for anything more?
